Throughout her studies, she acquired extensive experience on and off field for athletic therapy, taping for injuries, strength and conditioning, and exercise programming for individuals with disabilities. She has covered a wide range of sports including rugby and university cheerleading, where she had the honour of caring for the Brock Cheerleading team during their gold medal win at Worlds in January 2020. Leona was a competitive horseback rider throughout high school and university, competing for Brock University on their equestrian team.

Combining expertise with empathy, she creates a safe space for clients to feel empowered by their rehabilitation goals and understanding their injury. Conducting comprehensive orthopaedic assessments with multimodal treatments, she is able to successfully guide individuals through the full journey of pain and recovery.

Leona has a special interest in the lumbar spine, along with hip, knee and ankle conditions. She stays current with the latest scientific literature to ensure the best care is provided.
